Today it's all going so fast so I just have a quick question today... What are you doing? I've got about six+ things to get done and I'm praying! At least one of them is a fabric store!

Since this is "Earth Day", I'm doing my part in cleaning up the Earth and will clean out my sewing room. I'll sort all the bits and pieces of fabric and stray blocks into their respective bin and roll up and label all the strips of leftover batting. Next, I'll chase the dust bunnies away and then fill up all the recycled containers I've been collecting with sewing notions. And finally, I'll pet my "Civil War" fabric, cut out the May BOM, and order some light blue fabric.

Well, dishes, laundry, for the housework.
It's raining here so gonna read some.
Have a pork roast to put in the roaster.
Quilting: I have a cute doggie panel quilt I'm finishing up, hand stitching my grandson's name on it then binding and I'll be done!

Since we actually have a nice day, I'm escaping work early, taking my DH to camp for some R&R before the nasty weather comes back tomorrow. Oh, also taking the sewing machine...hehehe!

I'm working till 2:30 today, then, if it's not raining, I'm going to do my bit for Earth Day and pick up trash on the sides of my street. We live in deep woods, and some terrible people still litter in this world - boggles my mind and makes me see RED.

I am finishing some burp rags that I did on my emroidery machine. Then, switching back to the sewing machine to practice my FMQ - I want to finish my first quilt top but need more practice. In between - I am loafing around on MSQ - my favorite site and the reason I keep adding to my project list and never get anything done LOL!

I have beento the grocery store, bought fabric on line from MSQC, and am headed to finish a quilt top for charity. Then... I will get ready to sew on a BOM for my daughter's quilt.

I'm at work right now, but soon after I'm heading towards the fabric stores to buy the first fabric for my first quilt that I hope to complete and admire!!! My finger are just itching to get started.

Chugging right along on my sons graduation memory quilt. Probably not going to get it done in time. My back has been acting up and can't sit to long but I will get there

I've been busy already with house work. I am lucky and have a loonngg 4 day weekend so want to get all the ugly stuff done early. I plan on spending some 'quality' time with my 14 year old daughter who is also off school and then later tonight I will work on my jelly roll quilt and make some of Jenny's fabric covered glass serving plates.

I am recycling many many neckties into skirts. So far I have 10 finished and 3 more to go for today. I am going to use the left over pieces for some new purses,maybe tomorrow after I get groceries{such a thankless job- "there is never anything to eat!".}

Congratulations Rougealar!
I am resting up from my trip to Buffalo yesterday. I'm a bit sore. But this afternoon I have a table runner to do for my Daughter in law. She is kind to do our Easter dinner and I want to give her a gift. So I will work on that and finish it up tomorrow and wrap it for Sunday. I just hope it looks good enough to give to her. She has been through so much and deserves a present. She is a great Mom and Wife. I am so proud of her. Normally I would do dinner here and the kids would fly kites in the fields and give Heather the day off but Em can't be around the animals so we have to go there. She is a great cook and we are having ham and I have to make my raisin sauce or she won't let me eat. lol Heather has a great sense of humor and is one of the most creative people I know. She and Emily are quilting together now. Heathers sister does fantastic quilts thus the reason mine might not look so good. Oh well. She'll forgive me.

I wondered how you were feeling today Jan.
Got my running in town done and now hope to work in the sewing area and clean up a bit some. Have lots more of the 10 minute blocks to make yet using the True Blue line I got from MSQC.
