Since I just finished a quilt using the half hexagon ruler, it has become a new favourite.

      Congrats Tamster7....enjoy your good fortune

I Just love all my rulers. I even use a metal square (which was my grandfathers...he was a carpenter ). I would love, love, love to have all the newer ones. New to me anyway...lol....the binding tool, the dresden, the tumbler...etc. But I would really like to have the scallop ruler. I just love the way the edges look when finished this way..

      Good luck all....

I like my 6 1/2 x 24 the best. I have a slotted ruler that comes in handy too.

I love my ruler with the slits in it every 1/2" so I don't have to move the fabric nearly as much!!

Congrats Tamster7! Enjoy all those points

For me the ruler I use the most is the 6x24 but my newest fave is the Dresden ruler. I saw the tutorial on Youtube and ordered one. As soon as it arrived I made a cute springy wall hanging. It was super fun and super easy.

My all time favorite is like everyone else-- the 6X24 inch ruler. But my new favorite is the half-hex ruler by Natalie Dawn. It makes such adorable hexagon quilts from jelly rolls!!!

The ruler I use the most is the 6x24". But I recently bought the 12½" square ruler and I'd have to say that's my favourite. I sometimes wonder how I've done without it all these years.

The ruler I like the best is my big square ruler.

Hm, my favorite ruler...? I use my 6x24" ruler the most but I really want to give a try is, one of the Marilyn Doheny's 9 degree circle wedge cutters. They come in lengths from 9" - 25" inch rulers.

Here's the blog post that sparked my interest. I like that it doesn't look like a regular, everyday Dresden and some of the effects that you can create with these rulers are really beautiful.

I, too, use my 6 x 24 ruler the most. I hate having so many different rulers for different projects. But I have two on my wish list, the wedge ruler and the dresdan plate ruler. I'm making myself wait until I'm about to use them before I buy them. Pat

Hi Robert here fron the Seattle area. I love my 12 1/2 inch square with my swap partners where it's a 10 1/2 inch square or a 12 1/2 inch square the 12 1/2 inch really comes in handy and my 2 1/2 inch X 24 inch binding ruler. Has the angle at the end of the ruler and you are good to go when cutting binding strips.
