About 6 months ago...can't remember name of the movie...something about taking over the Whitehouse. We do go on Christmas Day as a family. It is one of our family traditions.

I think the last movie I went to the theater was Dark Shadows. Like others here I would rather spend my money otherwise.

I actually go the movie quite a bit. Usually with my teenagers but sometimes with my hubby. And I go alone, too, if I want to see a movie and no one else does. Last movie I saw was the Great Gatsby (the new one).

Congrats Knitandtink. "The Help", only because my brother bought tickets while I was visiting. Before that it was "Mama Mia" because friends took me for my birthday. I guess I just don't get out much on my own! LOL!!

Hmmm. We don't get out much either. It was either The Hobbit or the latest Star Trek.

Congrats to the winner-have fun shopping!

It has probably been about 5 years for me. I attempted to take my kids to a children's movie...haven't tried that again. LOL!

Oh my gosh....I can't remember the last time I was at the movies. I hardly ever go because I don't like to pay that much for a movie I can watch the next month on my TV.....LOL! And when I'm sitting at home I can quilt or knit while I watch it.....

                  Congratulations to the winner.

Last time I was at the movies was in early 1999. After my husband at the time was killed in an accident my sister-in-law came to stay with me and to get me out of the house we went to see Val Kilmer in At First Sight. It was a good movie.

Congrats Knitandtink! The last movie I saw was Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon!! Took my daughter and her friend to see it the night it came out. Of course it was a midnight showing.

This is an interesting topic because of all places, I work at a drive-in theater. I don't usually even get to watch the movies because we're busy working in the concession stand. It's a fun job and we get to hear all about the movies through our customers. We just hope our drive in will be able to continue as we have to switch to digital projectors just as the other indoor theaters have. Being in Iowa/Minnesota we are only open during the warmer months. So, long story short, the last movie I went to was "Turbo" and "Grownups 2" last night.

Haven't been to a Movie Theater in over 20 years. I do watch Netflix. When we are watching movies, I'm usually hand quilting , that is my relaxing time.

Wow...it's been awhile. I had to ask my son to help with this one. I believe that the last time we went to see a movie was when Avengers came out----so that's been quite awhile ago. We don't tend to go out to the movies very often because for just my husband and me it seems to always hit $50.....we'd rather wait for the movie to come out on disc and use the money to go out to the casino instead.

My husband and I haven't been to the movie theater to watch a movie since last winter...we saw The Best Marigold Hotel with some friends of ours...the guys weren't too crazy about the movie, but I enjoyed it...we went out to the movies more often before my hip started to get worse...
