I created a new group for those who want to join the Farm Girl Vintage a sew-a-long. If you're interested, the plan is to begin in January after the holidays. We'll be using Lori Holt's Farm Girl Vintage book. The book includes 45 Farm Girl blocks. Start gathering your book and fabrics now. Don't forget to join the group!

Summer, the individual blocks are scrappy and I do not see fabric requirements for the Farm Girl Sampler Quilt blocks themselves. There are 45 block patterns, and the pattern calls for one of the blocks to be made three times for the corner blocks. The book has instructions for 6" or 12" blocks for each of the 45 blocks. The book does have the requirements for the sashing and borders though.

Maybe someone who has made the quilt can chime in and give you an idea of how many FQs they used to make the blocks. My plan is to use what I have and fill in where I need certain colors.

Seeing how many you have there is helpful! I'd kind of like to do it with some bright, modern fabrics.
