Hi Dears,

is anybody of you travelling to the wonderful Festival of Quilts in Birmingham this year? I will be there all 4 days and it would be nice to meet the one or other of you.

I used to go regularly not been for a couple of years. Look out for the demonstrations and hour+ classes. They give you a chance to put your feet up. There are also talks which I've never managed to get to which people have enjoyed. Do you have the classes list with dates and times? I did the longer classes which begin 2 or 3 days before the show in the entrance area rooms.

In my day Weatherspoons is just by the main entrance but it does get full. There is also a cash machine in this area for those stalls that aren't doing cards.

The best time I found to walk around the quilts was first thing before the buses arrived. The corridors between stalls can get very congested during the afternoon but empty out after 4.00pm when the buses leave. Each day you will find is completely different in type of customer.

Thanks dear Suzette and Maureenh for your kind answer and sorry for not reacting earlier. I got a new Job that takes me in very tough. Also I will enjoy the days at the Birmingham Show in August. It will be my third time of visit and I booked some classes, as every year. Maybe there will be the one or other M* Member and it would be nice to meet for a coffee.
