    How many colors WINNER!

    I got my book today! Wow it's beautiful!

    The # is 27

    So, in my original thread the winnner is SANDY! But I posted a guessing thread and to be fair the other winner is laura44.

    CONGRATULATIONS!

    I have a queston. Is it cheaper to buy a fat quarter or 1/3 yd? My shop will cut quarters of batiks.

      The fat quarter should be cheaper since it is a 1/4 yard and a third is more fabric.

        Re cost of FQs and 1/3 or 1/4 yard . . . Usually (if using batiks) they will run from $3 to $4 each.

        Batiks Etcetera & Sew What Fabrics

        Depending upon where you buy them, batik prices can vary. M* has them around $11 a yard - so 11/3 = 3.66 and 11/4 = 2.75

          Well your getting something even if you and Al have to eat it. hee hee.

          I'm going to shop at my local shop. The amount of batiks they have is a little jaw dropping. Plus they give me a discount There is a diagram in the book and I think I will have it enlarged.. I want to play it safe with my first art quilt. It calls for alot of embellishments too. You don't really see it online. So pretty in the book.
