Hi Heather (that is my daughters name also!) I love the star quit on your blog front page... I love doing that kind of star and like the red "ring" around it. I might give that some thought for my next one! ANd that fan quilt you did.. I don't even like those two colors, but WOW... I love that quilt! I did subscribe to yours (quiltingnanny). Look forward to enjoying your work!

My blog is Fabric And Memories

          Re: Bloggers & Their Blogs

I saw some questions about blogging on the new posts list, and dug up this old thread! :-) An oldie but goodie!
I have had starting a blog on my "bucket list" for a while. While I was bored waiting at the airport a couple of weeks ago, I dove in. Right now I'm using a free theme through wordpress and have setup a complimentary youtube channel for instructional videos.

          Come take a look!

          Dueling Threads

I will be posting threads about sewing, quilting, embroidery and crochet. It should keep me busy!

My sister in law is working up some custom artwork (I am so excited!), so it will get an updated look soon.
          What do you think?
Are there any tutorials that you would love to see? I'd love to get some practice teaching!

I've got a blog, and try to post as often as I can. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in what I'm doing that I completely forget to take photos or whatnot. Trying to get back on "schedule" with posting.

My blog address is listed below, but just in case it's Everything Is Coming Up Rosie

Hey there... I love browsing blogs just after dinner.. letting the meal "settle in". I am celebrating the 8th year of blogging over at wordpress. My link is at the bottom in my signature line. I do just about everything so it's my place to keep notes and how to's.

I'm not one either, and I don't look at them due to an ugly virus I got from one that was linked in a post here. The guru was not a happy monkey!

                          Re: Bloggers & Their Blogs

I wish I could follow lots of blogs. But I agree with others who say if we do that all the time we would not be quilting. That is one of the reasons I love this forum. Seeing and reading about all in one place. I have a couple blogs I do check on a regular basis, but even those are hard to keep up with.

I wish I could find time to do a blog. They are a great way to keep a quilters diary.
