    I take it that you wait and see how many people are joined up before you know the number of blocks you need to make? Am I understanding that correctly? If 40 people join, are you expected to do that many blocks, or will we be divided up into two groups?

      i will cap the player count at 36 - so

      36 = 3 charm packs to create a 54x54'' quilt top with a 6x6 block layout.

      come play in Hunters Stars !

          Re: Hunter Spring Star swap

          I would join the swap because I love swaps but the thoughts of making 36 of the same identical block scares me. I bore so easily I am afraid I would get 2 done and that would be it. sorry I have to pass on this one.

            I used this tutorial last fall to make a Hunter Star quilt which I submitted for the Iron Quilter 2 challenge. I starched the charm squares, like the tutorial recommends. It was super easy peasy I hit the perfect point intersection the first time all but twice. This is a huge improvement for me over other Hunter Star methods I have tried. Suzi, I'm going to try the block before committing to anything with POINTS!

                I joined the group and then thought of the "points". Guess I need to go do a practice block too.

                  I see you missed a couple.

                  Beautiful Denise!

                  It's a beautiful block, but would be to nervous to take this on too. I hope you get a good turn out

                    CRICKEY! Too scary and too much of a commitment, chica!
                    But I would be willing to do a pot-holder swap, using this technique, though.
