Hinterberg Quilting Frame - Want to donate to a guild perhaps

I have a Hinterberg quilting frame that I've been lugging around for years. After just two quilts, I decided I don't like to hand quilt. I would like to donate it to a quilting guild or group. The catch is...it's currently in the Memphis area, and I am not inclined to ship it. The recipient would have to come pick it up. It is sized to handle up to a king-size quilt but any handyman can easily cut it down to whatever size desired. My husband and I put it together, and I swear...it's no big deal to resize it. If you know a deserving group that would like to own this baby, let me know and we'll talk about it further.

Why not list it on Craig's List? (I used to live in Cordova! In Chapel Creek, moved back in 2001)

I have thought about Craig's list but figured there might not be many quilters on there. Maybe I'm being naive.

I think you would be surprised!! Lots of quilters look on Craigslist and if you specify just what type group you want it to go to, it would be worth your time, because afterall, it's free to list on there!

I would like some more info about it. My daughter lives there. Could you send me a PM about it and how much you might want for it. Is it something to be used for hand quilting only or could it be used with a machine? Thanks, Brenda
