Hi Jan, Just click on the link above from the first person (kelandspence). There you will find the pattern for the star. Also, if you google, Flag of Valor, you will find several quilt patterns. This is a great cause!
Mia, that site shows you how to make the quilt yourself but you can just send "One Star" block to the charity and they will make the quilt for the soldiers. They wanted to receive different stars from all over. Go to this site for that http://www.unitednotions.com/LA_just_one_star.pdf Thanks! Sam

No need to be sorry! I might want to make one of these for summer and for a friend's husband who was wounded. Nice to know how to make the whole thing.
I'm gonna take this to the LQS and see if she wants to put together little kits with the pattern and see how many we could come up with in our little area. We'll see if she goes for it.

Kelly, thanks for posting this. I am definitely going to do this!!! My son is in the National Guard and my husband spent 20 years in the military. I love the idea of wrapping our soldiers in our love! I think we should ALL do this!!!!
Received a thank you card from Moda today for my star blocks. It included a mini-charm pack or whatever you call 2 1/2" squares. love the fabric line...Warm Memories from Moda. Would love to make a quilt out of that line.
