Count me in. What size blade did you make with the Dresden? And can the center be any color? And where do we mail our block when finished?

I was wondering the same thing. Is it a 5 inch blade? We send them to Suzi. Hugs, Jan

          YAY!!
Sign up on the group page the blades are cut at 7.5" using the Easy Dresden Ruler - if you own this ruler, you own the directions to complete this block - it is printed inside the folder the ruler came with. i find the fast and best way, for me, to cut them is this - strip cut one strip from each fabric to 7.5" by wof. stack these strips CAREFULLY together making sure edges are perfectly aligned and then subcut by flipping ruler north to south. BE SURE YOUR STRIPS ARE EDGED PERFECT PRIOR TO EACH CUT!! you should get 18 sets of blades this way. the main white on white block is a 10" square - a white on white layer cake will work great and is why i decided to make these blocks this size or you can cut 12 of these per 1 yard of fabric with 6" left over so a 2 yrd piece and you will have 28 YAY!!

The center bright circle is 3.5" - i cut mine on a friends cricut

Suzi what do you mean by sub cut? Can't you just sew them like the instructions and then put them on the quarter circle? Forgive me I don't understand sub cut cause I'm new to quilting. Thank you, Jan Is it still one block per person?

Never mind I think. You have to flip the ruler right? It makes sense now if that's it. If not I'm lost again. sigh I know I'm a pain. Sorry. Hugs, Jan

I guess I was hoping for a 5" blade cause then you can use a charm pack.

Does any one know how much of each fabric is needed for the 5 black/white fabrics? Do fat quarters work well for this (The Dresden part)? I'm sorry if my words are off, I'm having a off day...

If cut carefully, you should be able to cut 36 blades from 1/2 yard of fabric.
