Quilt Backing ?

Hi All,

Just a quick question. I have to sew together the backing for my quilt and can't remember what the teacher said about the seam measurement, if it should be 1/2 an inch or 2 inches. I'm new to quilting and this is my first quilt and I'm not really sure what I should be doing so should my backing be sticted at 1/2 an inch or 2 inches down the middle to join the two pieces?

Hmmmm, I've always done 1/2 an inch. I don't think I've ever read to do 2 inches.

It was probably 1/2 an inch then lol I think the 2 inches was something else. Thanks Hillbilly
