yes, Ive made a couple of quilts like this and the sashing was easy to do and turned out great. what is the wording in your instructions..there are a couple of ways it can be done so don't want to confuse you any more than necessary!!!!!

Don't have any "instructions" - i saw a you tube video and thought - I need to try that!!..... so here i am

once i figured out the measurements for the block sashings, they went on very easily. suppose the row sashing is just one long strip done the same way.......... now to figure out borders. i guess they will have to be made with the same method and then attached to the center............?.

not so sure this is saving time or effert but sure is cool!

yes, your row sashing is done the same way. and yes to the border process..and yes, it does seem a lot of extra work, but it's easy work and does look cool. and see, you can figure it out on your own if you have to...

yep, ALL of my quilting is self taught from either trial and error, or watching the awesome tutorials on MSQC!!! which at times has its own set of trials!! LOL
