Will the holes from quilting show?

My quilt I made for a friend was finished and I had a friend that quilted it for me. Unfortunately, when we sandwiched it, the spray adhesive didn't really hold good and the back of the quilt slipped so the right border was crooked and much smaller than the left one. I plan on taking it apart adding more blocks to the back which is a lasagna quilt and not putting a border back around it and have it quilted again. My concern is the front is a large panel and was wondering if the needle holes from being quilted before will close up after washing or remain open on the front?

Usually once a quilt is washed, those holes won't be noticeable.
