    Favorite precuts quilts

Due to the recent u expected death of my husband I need to stop buying fabric for awhile and use up some of my stash. I have several charm packs, jelly rolls and layer cakes. What is your favorite patterns for precuts?
    Thanks. Terry

So sorry to hear about your husband.

I love the Double Slice layer cake, Jelly Roll Race and Jenny's Picnic quilt if you have multiples of a charm pack or at least two that work together.

Take into consideration when looking at your precuts the balance of light and dark fabrics - sometimes that will eliminate certain patterns.

I'm using a print jelly roll plus a solid jelly roll to make a Sisters Choice quikt (Jenny has a great tutorial, she calls hers Studio Star). It's a bit fiddly, but I find that when I need a distraction from everything it's a great project to lose myself in for a few hours.

My condolences to you on your loss.

                    Re: Favorite precuts quilts

I'm so sorry for your loss. Take some time to adjust to this life change, and definitely quilting will be therapeutic.

There have been great suggestions, and M* does sort their patterns by pre-cut size.
My favorites for fast quilts using strips - summer in the park, sticks and stones,
For layer cakes - disappearing hour glass, disappearing pinwheel, quatrefoil, Diamond dash.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

                      So sad.

Moda Bakeshop used to divide their free patterns according to the different pre-cuts. They seem to have altered their website since I used that option some time ago and I haven't been able to find the 'page' but hopefully someone else will be able to lead you there. It was very useful.

                      My sincere condolences
