Looking for a font for baby quilt

I know, I am sorry that I ask so many Forum questions! My new grandson who is just 2 days old -- dd wants me to make him a Monster quilt (from the shinyhappyworld). She wants me to incorporate his name, birthdate, time and weight on it. I have looked everywhere for an outline font so I can applique the words on it, but I can't find a font that is an outline shape that I can use a fusible web with. Any ideas? Word processing fonts don't seem to be adaptable to what I need but idk where to look. Help!

jj....try this, sweetie. I found this on Pinterest. Let me know if it works for you! Best of luck and the new grandbaby is so sweet! You might have to play with creating the correct size you want when you print the words out.

I found an appliqué font on the website designs by juju. They stitched nicely. Also, I have seen appliqué fonts on the website Appliquécorner.com. I have bought several designs from them and they stitch nice as well.

Can’t wait to see your finished project!

Shiny Happy World has a free font that you can print out. It is just the outline.

Jocelyn, what a proud grandma with her adorable grandson. Congratulations again.

Sorry, not much help with fonts. Whatever is on DH's machine is what I use.

Can't help you on any outline, Jocelyn, but that adorable bundle in your arms is worth any trouble you might have finding what you need.

Three years ago I made this quilt for a friend´s grandson and I put the phrase "A JUGAR" "TO PLAY" so she knows they can use it for more things to cover up. The letters are taken from a coloring page and applied to the machine. Her grandson looks adorable and calm and grandma so happy, congratulationsAmets..jpg

1st off what a handsome baby boy. Congratulations. What I've done when I needed lettering for applique is to purchase a couple alphabet stencils (Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc). Just inexpensive plastic ones. I then trace what I want in reverse onto fusible and fuse that to the quilt top. If I need smaller or larger sizes I just reduce or enlarge on a copy machine then trace onto the fusible.

Thanks everyone! You all gave me some really good ideas here. This will probably be my winter project, as the baby is not lacking in any crib size blankets right now. Normally I make a quilt for their 2nd birthday and make it a twin size. Not sure yet what size I will make this one. Originally I thought if I couldn't find an alphabet online I would just go to the store and buy flash cards, if they still make such a thing. Thank you so much for the help. You always come through for me! Oh and here's another photo, 3 days old.
