    need help for snowballing

When I snowball a block, it seems it always ends up uneven on one side of the block. The edge of the snowball is about 1/8 inch shorter than the block. I don't know how to add a picture. What am I doing wrong?

When snowballing, press a crease in the square, or draw the line, then sew about a needle's width to the side of the line, toward to the corner. Press. When you press (not iron), the edges should match up with your block. Do not trim the excess fabric until you've pressed first. This is a more accurate way to do this. I learned it from Donna Jordan's tutorials. I rarely have to square up when I do it this way. I hope that helps.

Thank you. Sewing to the left of the center and waiting to trim until I press seems like a good idea.

Thank you very much. Your ideas about sewing to the left of center and pressing before trimming are great.
