    Increase the quilt size

I want to increase the Out of Time quilt for a king size bed. What do I need to do?

Make more blocks. The pattern is for 86x86 so an additional row on one side and top or bottom should make it 95x95. Make that a row on each side and you will have 104x104.
You could make borders, which would also work.

Ok but now how much fabric to buy based on what Jenny said in the tutorial. I can't afford not to buy the right amount as I am travelling a ways to buy the fabric. Any help on that? Thanks, C

        Re: Increase the quilt size

Take the number of rows in the original quilt and how ever many rows you decide to add make them a percentage. So, If you have 10 row in the pattern and you are adding 2 rows that would be 20 percent more fabric. 4 more rows would be 40 percent more fabric. So, if it calls for a total of 6 yards and you increase that by 40 percent , you would need about 2 1/2 more yards. But, if there are many colors you will just take the amount of yards it calls for and add 40 percent more to each color
