    Lone Star Log Cabin Quilt

    Hey All!

I recently discovered the lone star log cabin quilt, and I am in LOVE. I have always admired log cabin quilts, and the two together is just adorable. However, I cannot find a pattern for this type of quilt. Does anyone know where I might find one? It does not have to be free.

    Thank you so much!

This book lists it as one of its patterns.

Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

I did hear that there is a correction for that pattern.
"In your instructions in your book please correct the width that you cut the "green medallion border" It should be cut to 3" wide and not 2 1/4" as it is stated in the book.

There is not a mistake in the instuctions if you are making it with the white next to the medallion border. Now if you are putting the dark next to it You will be cutting a inch more off the log cabins so you have to add that inch back in. So you will be cutting the border 3 1/4 Hope I explained it well. I just finished mine with the dark next to the border. I had a problem with the log cabins coming out the right size. Seems like they used a very scant 1/4 inch. Should say I used the pattern in book Tried and True
