Madame Rouge - What pattern to use?

I am somewhat new to quilting and have a jelly roll of Madame Rouge. I absolutely love the colors but I do not know what pattern to use for it. I really would appreciate any ideas anyone has.

    Thank you so much,
    Vicki

Ooh, that is a pretty line of fabrics! I would be tempted to leave the strips as whole as possible. I had a "Rosa" jelly roll that I did what would probably be called a rail fence. I wanted the prints to have their full impact, and I felt if they were cut into small pieces they would all blur together.
If I remember correctly, I sewed 4 strips together, then cut into squares. 8.5", I think. Then when you sew the squares together, alternate the direction of the strips.
That's going to be a very intense quilt, with all the red. But I like it. If you want it less intense, you might want to pick out one of the more neutral colors in the mix, and get some yardage to chill out the whole effect.
Let us know what you decide!

A braid or herringbone would look nice in those pretty fabrics.

I noticed that also showed a kit which appeared to be Summer in the Park or Summer in the Park Revamped. A take on that pattern would be nice too.

Thank you so very much!! I actually did a quilt similar to that pattern for my first quilt so I know I can do it!

Thank you for that idea and links. There are so many variations with the braid and herringbone. I am going to seriously consider this one!!
