Pins and Paws Cat Quilt question

What should the finished blocks size be?? I am trying to square up my blocks and cannot find the finished size. I am assuming 9 1/2" square. Does anyone have a great tricks on how to "square up" blocks. I always forget this step and feel it would make a world of difference in my final construction. Thank you!

I haven't made this quilt, but its next on my list. Do you know if somewhere there is a written pattern for this? I would like to be able to print the instructions out - - because I have to read things a few times before I "get it"

The few tips I know. Save all your blocks and square them up at the same time. Fabric relaxes and breaths so if you square them up all at the same time they will stay the same. If you square one and then square another much later, when the new one relaxes it may not be the same size. Measure all your squares and square them up to the smallest one. If I have any significantly smaller I will redo that one.
