    Wall hanging

I am just about finished my first wall hanging. It is appliqued and stitched with invisible thread. Can I give this a pressing or will the harm the invisible thread. I will try a samile piece first to test but thought your opinions would be best.

Also what way do you square it up to make sure the sides are straight, as there are really no seam lines to use as a guide.

    Thanks in advance

This is an interesting test: http://www.quiltersreview.com/six-in...t-to-the-test/

I was never happy with the nylon invisible thread but was very happy using poly like Sulky.

Thanks, great article, not sure if I'm a lover or a hater yet, but it was very interesting

I have ironed plastic before. Use a pressing cloth on a low setting.
