    Walking foot bobbin tension problems

I have been quilting this morning with walking foot & have had no problem. Bobbin ran out so changed & now have no bottom tension. Changed bobbin, rethreaded needle, cleaned under bobbin, changed needle - nothing worked. Changed to regular presser foot & it stitches perfectly. Put on walking foot & again no tension. Anyone have an idea what is wrong. My machine has never given me tension problems before.

Maybe there is a bit of thread or fluff caught in the bobbin case, where the thread goes through? Could be holding it open too far?

Couple of things that you didn't mention cleaning: The actual walking foot, and under the pressure plate.

But that aside, your problem could be specific to your type of machine and it's settings. So what machine do you have?
