Fine line rulers

Has anyone ever used the fine line FMQ rulers and / or clarity quilting foot?

I have not heard of these rulers. I glanced through the info. Does it say anywhere how thick they are? I bought Quilter's Pineapple rulers from Amy Johnson. They are 1/4" thick, which is what I needed for my Tiara II. I also bought a couple straight Handi Quilter rulers from Amazon, which also are 1/4" thick. I think the thickness requirements vary depending on whether you are using your DSM or a LA. You might watch Amy Johnson's videos on YT or take her Craftsy classes on use of rulers.

I got the foot and two rulers for Christmas. So far I can not use them since the screw for my presser foot is too ???thick/wide/big. If I can find another screw to hold the foot onto the machine I think I will love them.
I need to make a trip to the sewing machine store to see if I can find one that will work. I tried to get one online but no such animal exists for my machine a Viking Sapphire 875Q.

The rulers are thick and nicely marked.

I have both a straight and curved rulers from accent in designs, and the clarity foot. I have used the rulers a few times and love them. So far I have stuck with very simple line quilting using them and had good results (after a little practice). I have a Janome 8200 and bought the rulers in the medium sizes. I would say for that machine small or medium is fine.

I have not used the clarity foot yet but I am sure it will help - My current metal ruler foot doesn't allow the rulers to sit behind the ruler foot (which I sometimes would like to do), but the clarity foot should (I hope) have the back clearance to let the rulers fit behind it. Either way being able to see through the foot will be a huge help for me.

Well, I went ahead and got the clarity foot, 6" straight ruler, and 6.5" curved ruler. I got 2 straight rulers instead of the curved one, called them and she sent one out immediately and told me to keep the extra straight or donate it, whatever I wanted. Such wonderful customer service! I love the clarity foot (yes, you can put a ruler behind the foot), and have practiced with the ruler a bit. I think I'm really going to like them. So glad I got them.
