    spray basting batting to minky

I'm making a quilt 59" x 68". I have everything cut to size. How do you spray baste such a large size of minky to the batting? I tried to do it in halfs but I still could not get the creases out of the batting. Do you do it in fourths? What's the procedure?

I use two tables together and do it in halves but while it is folded back I lift the fold and spray under it to help hold that first part down then I make sure to float it down if you pull to hard while your bringing it together it will get creases. It helps to have to people you can also put the minky face down and put the batting on top then baste them together that way. I sometimes clip mine to the table to keep it from moving. My friends pins one layer to the carpet. Then I just gently smooth them together.
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
