    Fabric bleed help please.

spots.jpg So excited to finish this today. Didn't remember if I had washed the fabric when I started it 2 years ago. Threw it in the wash and partially dried in dryer. To my dismay, I've already washed it again after finding bleeds. This pic doesn't show them well, but there are 3 red ones there and 2 more on one of the borders. Do I wash it again?

    Quilter's Rules:
#1 Buy fabric - no matter how much you already have.
#2 Sew all day and all night - no cooking allowed.
#3 Start a new quilt before the last one is finished - must return to #1.

Try washing it again but with a color catcher :-) It might work

You might have some issues because your dried it with heat after it bled. Try washing with color catchers as many times as needed without drying it. The heat will set the stain.

I have successfully treated bleeds with a paste of oxyclean rubbed in right before laundering with 2 color catcher sheets. Good luck!
