    Where did you find this panel? My Granddaughter in law is expecting in July. She is wanting a giraffe theme in baby-to-be room (does not want to know sex of baby). I am making a quilt with a giraffe applique, but this is really cute, too. I think I could do two....: - }

    Thanks ladies. That is what I was thinking. I just needed to see it.

    Are you just wanting to add a couple more inches to each side than you add to the top and bottom? I think your idea of a thin inner border and then a wider border would be fine. Maybe a thin lime green border, then an orange wider border, 3" on top and bottom, 5" on sides?

    Odd Border-Need quick response

    I have a baby quilt that I want to square up a little more. Currently it is 56 x 42 inches. I want to widen it a bit but not add much to the length. Is it ok to make a different width border? I don't have any more fabric to make another row. I could leave it like it is, but I like my quilts a little more square looking. I not really sure why I didn't think this one through better. I was thinking of making an inner border the same size all around and then... I just don't know.
