I'm doing a table runner and the pattern calls for single binding. I've only done the binding where the fabric is ironed in half, machine sewn on one side and hand sewn on the back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Single binding
Is this just binding for the edge of the runner? If it is, I don't think it would matter if you did single binding or the doubled binding that you are used to doing. Single binding is just one side sewn on to the right side of the quilt or in this case table runner and then folded over to the back, the edge folded under and hand sewn down. You can press the fold in the non machine sewn side before you sew it on if you want.Patrice S
