    FMQ a checkered dresden ?

I have made some with Christmas fabric and now want to FMQ them or at least I think I want to FMQ or perhaps just straight stitch between each blade.

Has anyone quilted one or plan on quilting one, what did you do?

If you quilted this will little curves inside each "ditch" as part of the circle, it would then look like a christmas wreath and then you could also quilt or embellish with a bow. I am not sure I explained that right.
I could not get my drawing pencil to shrink but here is an idea of what I am trying to say.wreath.jpeg
Blogging ahead.....research in quilting and sewing with a dab of cooking/recipes too.

Thanks, a wreath is my goal and I do plan on adding bows as a embellishment. I plan on getting some satin ribbon, sewing the middle on the wreath then tying a 3D bow. These will be Christmas gifts for a couple of neighbors.

I love the pictured wreath, wish I had done a border but, too late now.
I did do a Christmas tree in a very similar way with the patchy background and border. It is ready to bind, yea!
