I bought what I thought was regular cotton fabric, but when I went to cut it, it felt like flannel. The selvage reads "knitted yardage" but the description online says it is 100% cotton. Can I use it with my regular cottons or will it wash/lay funny?

Must be some kind of brushed cotton knit. I would be afraid it would shrink more than woven cotton. -

100% cotton doesn't mean it's woven. It could be knitted 100% cotton. I'd hesitate to use it with quilting cotton unless both are preshrunk.Comment
