Good morning from the UK - just watched the latest tutorial (thanks Annika) and, as usual, Jenny's cutting always seems to go so smoothly. Anyone know what that cutting surface is - I have the Olfa green board which is getting past it's sell-buy date and doesn't help my cutting. Is Jenny's self-healing? Thinking I might treat myself that's if something like it is available in the UK! Thanks

Re: Jenny's cutting board
I believe most of the cutting boards used at Missouri Star are from Altos: https://www.altosezmat.com/
(anyone know for certain?) ((and I don't believe they are self-healing . . . ))
My personal preference? https://www.martellinotions.com/Last edited by Sandy Navas; October 21, 2016, 06:08 AM.Sometimes, when there's a raging fire,

Re: Jenny's cutting board
When I was in their shops, a lot of them did use the Altos, and I believe you are right about them not being self healing Sandy. At least the one I have isn't. I vote for Martelli as well and would never buy another brand.pat.

Re: Jenny's cutting board
I can't imagine using a non-self healing mat.
I use this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004CYT1H8...SYQT0HK0&psc=1

Re: Jenny's cutting board
There are a whole lot of mats that are not self-healing - F&Ps was a definite waste of my money. Olfas are gone sooner than later. The Altos mats develop definite grooves where cut upon . . .Sometimes, when there's a raging fire,
