Binding Help Needed with Scrappy Binding Ruler Runner

I want to make Jenny's Scrappy Binding Ruler table runner.
    http://quiltingtutorials.com/all/scr...-binding-tool/

Couldn't find written instructions in BLOCK although there is an article in an old Quilting Quickly (Called Friendship Runner there). However, there are no finishing instructions for binding.

When I first started making quilts, I made a similarly shaped runner. I had just learned how to bind quilts with mitered corners. I did the best I could on the angles but it became obvious you don't treat those angles like square corners. Long after I'd made the runner, someone here posted a link about binding angled corners and I saved it. My apologies for not remembering poster's name. If I follow the instructions shown in video below, will that work for the Scrappy Binding Ruler Runner?

I have never been successful with mitered Corners, therefor I always bind my quilts the "normal" way.
Maybe it gives you a much better result if you are using bias binding.
Sorry for not beeing able to help in a better way

Yes that tutorial will work with this runner.
Blankets wrap you in warmth, quilts wrap you in love

Thanks so much, auntiemern! As Jenny would say, "I'm angley challenged" so just couldn't decide if the binding ruler runner angles were the same as video.
