    Looking for Jenny's tutorial

    using 10 squares to make 8 hourglass. Can't remember how to cut it. I hope y'all understand what I am trying to say.
    I think you cut corner to corner both ways ( 1/4 inch on each side of center line) then down the middle both ways. If this is right please let me know. Are send a link. Thanks.

        Jenny does it that way on the alter ego tutorial. Look at that one.

          The method you describe to make 8 units from layer cake squares sounds like the "Magic 8" method for making 8 half square triangle units from two squares.
