Starburst quilt -- need quilting suggestions

I have a Starburst top completed as a memory quilt for someone. I need suggestions for quilting. I am not good at free motion quilting, and don't have time to improve before the deadline for this quilt arrives. I am good at straight lines with the walking foot! I don't want to do any stitching in the ditch. Fabrics had to be stablized and seams are pressed open to manage bulk.
    Thanks for your help!

How about using your walking foot to stitch a line down the middle of each radiating star point. That will make a set of four nested "V" that radiate around the quilt. If you want to be extra safe, for a quilt that will be washed a lot, either hand tie or if you have a decorative tack stitch on your sewing machine (a button hole stitch would work) the center of the star where all the open seams meet.

Would love to see a picture.

If you have a serpentine stitch, it is quick and forgiving (stitch setting 7.0/2.5). I was in a rush to get this one done. You can quilt the lines closer together, only in one direction, or in each direction. I chose to do this one on the diagonal. I could have done a better job if not in such a hurry. But it is finished. Starburst Quilt.JPG

Thank you both! Good ideas to consider. Will post a picture when done.

How about a curved or squiggly line out from the center down the middle of each star point and on the seams? That is a very forgiving design and would add some movement to the quilt.

My mom just finished a starburst quilt and did a spiral pattern radiating from the center. It's gorgeous.
