    Border fabric, round 2

I asked about this the other day and received mixed responses. I can't decide which fabric would work best for the sashing around these blocks. This is what I have so far - I haven't found a neutral to audition yet. I am leaning towards the darker fabric I think because it has a texture to it. Do you think the purple is too over-powering for the block?

Definitely like the texture and movement of the darker purple.

Lol, I drive myself crazy, sometimes! Ok, I'm going to cut the rest of the strips and stop thinking about it. Thanks, everyone!

If you're going to stay with the purple I'd go with the darker shade. Me, I would pick up a shade of pink from your fabric. Either way it's going to be very nice.

absolutely the texture adds to the darker tone . I love it much better then the solid. It is going to be awesome when done.

And I have changed my mind. Now, seeing the fabric surrounding the block, and the addition of the cornerstones, I also prefer the darker fabric.

the darker definitely! With the cornerstones it just makes the block pop.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. The purple was my first choice, but then I had some doubts about it being too dark. After seeing it in pictures, I was back to the purple again. Taking those pictures really does help. And so do all of you. Thanks again!
