I am putting binding on a lap size quilt and my question would be-the backing looks like a newspaper with all of the print and pictures going in the same direction. When I had the back put on and it long armed they have the print going all in one direction as it should be. So my question is-when I put the binding on should I make sure all of the print on the paper is going in the same direction. If so it would probably require that I start in the middle in the top, end at the bottom and start again at the bottom with the print going the correct direction or mesasure and piece the binding pieces together so they are all going the correct direction. This is something I will NEVER do again-at least I don't think so.
Maybe I should try and stop at the quilt shop tomorrow and ask their opinion. The binding will be pretty small-the usual 2 1/4 in"
Thank you guys.
