Bordered periwinkle Quilt

Hi everyone. I am in the process of making this quilt for my daughter in law using th Fresh Lilacs 10" squares. My question, as this is only my third quilt, and I could not find it addresses, is should I square up the blocks as needed before I make my rows? Some of my squares a not truly square.

I always square up all squares before sewing them into rows. Otherwise everything gets all wonky and kadywampus and then the whole quilt is cockeyed!

Yes square up all your blocks before you join them together. You will thank yourself when you have to put your rows together and all the blocks will be much easier to line up.

Agree, square up now. I tried skipping this step on my first quilt, after struggling to put together and wondering what was wrong!! Then the light bulb came on!!
