    Jelly Roll Race.II

I've watched the tutorial on jelly roll race 2 and she says to cut 18 inches off each strip so that inset blocks don't end up on the sides of the quilt. But what do you do with those 18" pieces? Do you add them back into the strip sets?

Cut 18 inches off the first strip only.

Yes... You only cut off the first 18 inches... That's so the strips will come together in a random looking order...m

After sewing all your strips into one long giant strip, when you take the two ends [make a big U shape] and sew the strip together, the strips would line up to each other and look kinda dumb, so she cuts 18" off one end [or one strip] so they will be off-set.

I didn't do that, BUT that's because I added yardage, and cut all those strips [from the yardage - not the jelly roll] in half, resulting in an off-set that was a bit different.
