Need help with block ideas

Hi everyone! I don't post much but read a lot. Wanting to make a quilt for a good male friend that only has 2 colors. Green and Black. Might be able to sneak in a cream too but for the most part just green and black. Nothing too complicated because I don't have a lot of time. Thinking a wonky star type block but not sure that will work with 2 colors.

I like a Hunter's star made in two colors.

The houndstooth tutorial looks nice. I am going to have to put that on my to-do list. Thanks for posting the link. I do like the 2 color hunter star quilts I've seen posted also, Jenny's tutorial on the hunters star is already on my to-do list.

Search for two color quilts on Pinterest. There's lots to choose from and since there are photos of each you don't have to use your imagination to see what they look like.

I've always liked the Carpenter's Wheel for a man.

I like the Hunter's Star especially for baby quilts.
