Bunny Tales and I need another Jelly Roll

    Hi Everyone! Good morning!
I'm making my sister a lap quilt and she liked my Bunny Tales jelly roll. The problem is she hates pink so I need to add another jelly roll to add variety. Does anyone have suggestions? I don't know if Kona Classic Palette or New Bright Palette would work well w/ Bunny Tales. Since she likes the 30's repro fabric I looked at the other ones but the prints are for babies, for the most part. I would really appreciate some help!

    Thank you!

Do you need a jelly roll or just additional fabric? If you look at the product listing here on Missouri Star they recommend some solids that go with the collection. Perhaps just buy yardage of some of those colors? Their Kona recommendations: White, Aloe, Holly, lipstick, Evening, Regatta,Sunflower, Violet, Charlotte. I definitely like the idea of bringing out the yellow.

I have used the 30's collection solids jelly roll with my 30's prints for a couple of table runners and it blended in nicely-sort of toned down all that print.

Procrastinate. It frees up time to quilt!

I don't see the 30's solid jelly roll here. :-(

I've put all that you suggested in my cart, except for the white and lipstick. 1/4yd will yield 3 stripes so 18 is a good qty. I also have some of the blue and yellow Kona's at home. I added a Bella Sunflower in too. Just because it is so pretty!!

Why not just pick one coordinating color since you already have a print?

Those Bella solids 30's collection colors are really, really pretty. I started a 9-patch/flower applique quilt out of them, with white background, and it's gorgeous, if I do say so myself (and I do!) The top is almost finished - I might have to pull that out today and work on it again. I do think the solids would be really great with the prints as well.

I second (or third) the 30's collection solids vote! lol
I actually used them recently for my grandsons quilt. they really helped tone down a "busy" embroidered quilt.
