    Quilting Motifs

Does anyone know where I can get quilting motifs for my embroidery machine other than emblibrary. I am looking for single run stitches. I can't afford a long arm and I am not happy with my free motion. I found a few on emblibrary but would love to have more to choose from. It seems like it is hard to find them in single run

Hang in there just a bit - I have quite a few so I'll need to check and see where I got them. That means hoping my sorting/filing system works like it is supposed to. I probably have thousands/millions of designs. What format do you need?

The Stencil Company www.quiltingstencils.com I bought some regular stencils but saw they did have machine embroidery ones too.

Don't give up too soon on your FMQ. I know that not everyone likes it but it does take a lot of practice. Meanwhile Sandy has some great links to check out.

                  Re: Quilting Motifs

I have found, through trial and error (since you all know what a nut I am about collecting old machines) that some of my sewing machines allow me to do FMQ with no problem and others are extremely difficult. Don't ask me why, because I don't know. One of the machines I use frequently lets me FMQ as if that were the only reason it was manufactured!! I would definitely tell you that by lowering the feed dogs you will have better luck. And, if you can't do that then you will struggle to get the nice loose curls, swirls, loops and curves.

Don't know if many of these are embroidery designs you could use, but this site is sure fun to browse
