I would like to learn more about making the rag quilt, I hope if anyone has suggestions or patterns you will message me, I am totally new to sewing, I got my first sewing machine last year for christmas, I crochet a lot, and needed a sewing machine to finish a project, now I want to make quilts for my grand children.

The rag quilts are very easy and fun to make. As a matter of fact I have 3 of them cut out and lying on the floor in the bedrooms. My two DGD are making one each and I am using their left over blocks to make another one. Mine will be a charity rag quilt for the ALS project. We cut our blocks 8 1/2 " and because my girls are tall they are 6 blocks by 9 blocks . Makes a really nice and big quilt to cuddle up with and your feet stay covered!! I made one for me last year and I really do like it on those cold nights.
