    Puff Ball Quilt

I found this photo on a quilting blog. How would this be accomplished? It's kind of fascinating and I've never seen anything like it before.

      Re: Puff Ball Quilt

HI- I have made those quilts before as baby shower gifts. I think they call them puff quilts or biscuits. I am not sure where my directions are for those. Haven't made one in quite some time. I do know that you can get a brochure for them on Ebay - type in biscuit quilt or puff quilt and they come up!

All I can remember from this quilt pattern is that they are basically little pockets that you stuff with fiberfill and then stitch up the opening. Not sure if I can find the directions.

I wonder...why couldn't you sew your blocks together, then use that extra puffy quilt batting in the "sandwich" and then stitch in the ditch to get the puffy look? Worth trying I suppose.

It looks like they would be nice and warm. I'd like to try one.
