    Working with a panel

    http:// https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/detail/10923/benartex/benartex-fabrics/tea-house-geisha-garden-plum-panel

I dearly love this panel but I am not quite sure how to make it into a lap quilt. Just adding a border to it seems so blah. Any other suggestions?

My LQS has done a number of samples with asian panels using those gorgeous Timeless Treasures fabrics and this pattern. I love your panel! I have fabrics from both colorways of Teahouse, can't wait to see what you come up with for this panel!

I don't care for that stark red border on the panel. If it were mine, I'd cut that off & make a different border or smaller blocks in colors that are more pastel. There are several coordinating fabrics on the M* website. JCY
