I'm in desperate need of new sewing scissors. Does anyone have a particular favorite? Oh and by the way I want to thank everyone for their machine quilting tips. Just finished my first project, a few irregularities, but overall a success.

Re: scissors
I also have a pair of Kai's. Lightweight and like cutting butter.
I also purchased these https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...oated-scissors when they were a DD sometime ago. They also are lightweight and cut very nicely. Also lightweight and will save some extra $$$Last edited by Blondie; April 21, 2014, 04:20 AM.Sewing mends the soul.

Re: scissors
I don't use my scissors very often (and when I do, I'm not asking a whole lot of them in my quilt room), so I just bought a good pair of Fiskar scissors at Joanns. I don't use them for anything but fabric, and they still cut beautifully five years later. If I used my scissors a lot, I would probably invest in Ginger or kai, but for me, Fiskars has worked well for a fraction of the cost.Courage is being scared to death, and saddling up anyway. ~John Wayne

Re: scissors
I've been replacing my scissors with KAI. They're very sharp, right to the tip, lightweight and reasonably priced.
Ordering directly from KAI is free shipping and the best prices.
