Batting - is this good batting?

I have not purchased this batting before. I picked it up at my new Fav quilt shop. It seems thinner than the stuff I normally use (and the name of which I can't recall for the life of me!)

Looking forward to the answer. I bought some at my LQS on their recommendation but haven't sandwiched my quilt yet. It did say 100% cotton with shrinkage at approx. 1%.

I haven't used it but the Dream company is supposed to be really good. I was planning to try some of their bats as they have a huge selection.

I am not positive, but I think Leah Day uses this - if not her, it was another Craftsy instructor.

I don't think I have ever used this batting, but I've heard good things about it... It should be just fine.

I just finished a quilt with Quilters Dream Orient.....I haven't washed it yet, but I loved this batting so far. It had a very silky touch to it. and I liked what I read about the company.

I just used the Dream Orient in a baby quilt. It worked up great.

Quilters Dream makes great batting! I love that Dream Orient batting. I wish I could use it all the time. Unfortunately, it's more pricey than I can afford.

That's what I buy. If you go to the web site they have a good variety of weights. They carry a poly blend too I think.

I'm quilting a quilt right now using Quilters Dream. I am in love with it! (first time using it). It may sway me from Warm & Natural. I think next time I will try the Dream Cotton. Both are cheaper than Warm & Natural.

I've used it several times and love it. It quilts so nice and washes really well with very little shrinkage. I like it better than warm and natural.

I use this batting quite often and have never had any trouble with it. My quilts aren't flimsy, yet they aren't stiff either. I hope you like it.

Quilter's Dream is very good batting. It's the only thing that I use. I usually use the poly, though. If you use the cotton, make sure that when you dry it that you use the low setting. I made the mistake of using a medium heat at the laundry mat because always before the cool setting took FOREVER to get the quilt mostly dry. Big mistake. The quilt shrank about 7 inches in length and 4 inches across. Turns out that the particular dryer that I used was running much hotter than the ones I had used before. Good thing that I had made it an over-sized throw.
