    Seaming batting

I am quilting a bed scarf for my bed. Can batting be seamed or pieced. I don't have a long enough piece, but I have two shorter ones.

Yes, definitely. I just butt two straight edges together and join with a large zigzag stitch.

And, welcome to the forum, from one quilting gran to another.

Straighten out the edges and zig zag. There is also an iron on tape that does a good job and is stable enough to quilt over.

        Welcome to the forum!

I've zig zagged pieces of batting together without a problem.

Yep, and the tape is good too.
I'm not a complete idiot.....some pieces are missing!

I piece batting all the time. Just but together and zig zag. Welcome to the forum.

There is a tutorial here that shows how to put smaller pieces of batting together.

I have joined smaller pieces of batting to make placemats.
