Has anyone ever used a Flynn Quilting Frame? Good, bad, or otherwise?

    Re: Flynn

I have looked at one and tried it briefly at expo. I thought it was just as easy to not use it and just wear gloves. However, they have gorgeous precut kits for great prices! I will be buying a Storm at Sea soon, I hope.

I was just looking at this on Youtube and how he put it together. I was going to come ask about it and found this thread.

Assembly of Flynn Multi-Frame and quilting tips.

        Re: Flynn

Quite a few years ago I tried one at a quilt show and ended up buying it. Never took it out of the box and ended up donating it to my local charity. It seemed to work well but takes quite a bit of space if you're planning on using it for a large quilt.

I watched the whole thing and really liked some of his quilting designs. Not sure of the frame though.
