Is there a website or place to go to discover a pattern name? Our family was fortunate enough to receive a few old quilts from previous generations and I would like to know the name of them ... Possibly date them, etc.

Here's a good place for pattern names! Post pics and usually someone here can tell you what the pattern is. For dating fabric in quilts you would have to go to an appraiser, most likely.Cyndi

For the names of blocks, I use Quilt Blocks Galore! but there are soooo many it would take ages to find a specifc pattern. It's easier to post pics and we can give our suggestions.Comment
