Hexie design question

Hi

It is a long way before I am finished with my hexie quilt but I have alredy an idea for the finish.

What do you think about this?

I am planing to make more hexies to sort of square up the quilt.

Thinking of filling in the edges so the edge will be more square.
And only using the brown fabric for those hexies

What do you think?

This will be so pretty!!

I think more brown would really frame it well. Another idea is to make "half" flowers to finish the rows.

This is coming out so pretty!
I think that would be great!!! Also, just a thought.....what if you did the white or a cream.....how the brown would stand out!
Then a straight border of brown or just bind in brown!

I really love the white and brown around your hexie flowers. I also like your idea about how to finish it off. It's going to be a magnificent quilt and a huge accomplishment for you.

Annika this is coming out gorgeous. I like the idea of filling in the smaller spaces with brown, also like the idea of filling in the larger spaces with 1/2 hexie flowers. What ever you choose it will be gorgeous!

I guess I have to play and fiddle a bit before I decide.

I like the suggestion to use a creame or or lighter toffe color to frame in the brown hexies

I do´nt think I make half flowers. I like the thought of solid colors at the end.

Well at the pase that I am in right now I figure it to be a year from now before it get time to decide.

Now I will get back to fmq my big beast of a quilt. They are never so big as they are when you are fmq ing.! ;-)
